The alpha300 apyron automated Raman imaging microscope from WITec GmbH is a self-aligning, self-optimizing system.
Its optical, analytical, and remote operation capabilities require less user input, enhancing reproducibility and eliminating potential sources of error. Opto-mechanical components can be configured to create an experimental setup for every investigation. Its AutoBeam modules include polarization-dependent measurements with motorized polarizer and analyzer rotation, push-button spectrometer connection and signal maximization, and automated adjustment of both iris diaphragms.
Software-driven automation also allows the alpha300 apyron to be operated completely remotely, whether in an environmental enclosure such as a glove box, or from another location.
