NEWARK, Del., April 18, 2013 — B&W Tek Inc. has enhanced its NanoRam Raman spectrometer with an embedded 2-D bar-code scanner, batch scanning capabilities, IP-64 rated (dust-tight and splashproof) housing and Ethernet connectivity for better tracking and reporting.

The handheld instrument, an analyzer for material identification and verification within cGMP-compliant facilities, provides a high-brightness OLED touch-screen display and intuitive software for technical and nontechnical users.

Also available are two sampling accessories: a 12-in. immersion shaft for sampling out of large drums and a tablet holder to measure finished products with uniformity.

The company has expanded its service and support to include on-site assistance with method and/or new library development with installation, operation and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) validation.
