The TPIR-785 Raman spectrometer from Teledyne Princeton Instruments is a fully integrated system that leverages spectrograph and camera technologies to optimize performance in the NIR region.
The ultra-high-sensitivity spectrometer is designed for NIR Raman spectroscopic application areas such as biology, medical research, and life sciences where NIR excitation lasers are preferred for their low fluorescence and deeper penetration depth when measuring biological tissues. An f/2 spectrograph with custom-designed lens optics provides high light throughput and imaging quality. Users can tailor the instrument’s performance for optimal spectral resolution or spectral range.
The system includes a 785-nm Raman probe, a universal fiber adaptor, a manual adjustable slit, and a high-power and temperature-stabilized 785-nm laser. A proprietary CCD delivers quantum efficiency of >70% at 1000 nm.
