Raman Spectroscopy LaserHÜBNER Photonics GmbH has announced the 08-NLD 488-nm laser by Cobolt for Raman spectroscopy.

The device joins the 08-01 Series of compact, high-performance single-frequency and narrow-linewidth devices covering a broad range between 405 and 1064 nm. The lasers are designed to meet the requirements of high-resolution Raman spectroscopy applications. An innovative proprietary optical design and manufacturing process provides wavelength stability of <1 pm, a spectral bandwidth of <1 pm, and spectral purity of >40 dB with fully integrated electronics in a single compact package.

All Cobolt lasers are manufactured using proprietary HTCure technology, and the resulting compact hermetically sealed package provides a high level of immunity to varying environmental conditions.
