DONGGUAN, China, Feb. 27, 2023 — Power-efficient 400 G FR4 and 800 G 2xFR4 receive optical engines (RXOEs) from Luxshare Technology Co. Ltd. and POET Technologies integrate photonic and electronic components on a single interposer chiplet.

The 400 G FR4 RXOE integrates a quad transimpedance amplifier, four high-speed photodiodes, and an optical demultiplexer integrated in a single chiplet measuring 12 × 5 mm. The 800 G 2xFR4 RXOE consists of an integrated octal transimpedance amplifier, eight high-speed photodiodes, and two optical demultiplexers in a single chiplet measuring 15 × 5 mm.
