MAINZ, Germany, March 24, 2015 — Huber+Suhner Cube Optics AG has announced its integrated multi-lambda 100-Gb/s Receiver Optical Sub Assembly (ROSA), compatible with CFP4 and QSPF28 form factors.

With a size of 18 × 6.5 × 6 mm, the ROSA also has a typical power consumption of barely 330 mW. The assembly incorporates an optical de-multiplexer, four PIN detectors and an array quad trans-impedance amplifier.

The pluggable transceiver can be used in data center and local-area network (LAN) applications.
