PhotonicsProducts.jpgThe 670-nm FC-PC receptacle-packaged laser diodes from Photonic Products are available for OEM applications such as scientific testing and fibre optic fault location. They operate at 670 nm, produce fibre output power of 1 mW and feature a built-in AlGaInp monitor photodiode. They are packaged in SMA, FC, ST or SC receptacles or with a universal adaptor that will accept FC, ST, SC and most other 2.5-mm-diameter ferrule connectors for user-supplied fibre coupling. Operating temperature is from –10 to 60 °C, typical threshold current is 25 mA, and operating current is 40 mA.
