The Tania USB 3.1 Gen-1 UVC reference design kit with dual camera from E-con Systems Inc. is a single-board, plug-and-play device with a Cypress’ EZ-USB CX3 USB 3.1 Gen-1 camera controller, advanced high-performance Socionext’s Milbeaut MBG967 image signal processor and Sony's dual-color autofocus camera modules based on the IMX230 and IMX258 image sensors

The system comes with dual cameras with two different modes and it can be used as individual camera streaming or both cameras simultaneous streaming. High-intensity on-board LEDs on both side of the kit allow cameras to capture in low-light environments. Support for UVC extension control is provided with control of features such as autofocus region of interest, auto-exposure metering, JPEG compression quality control, flicker detection and more.

The kit is ideal for users who want fast time-to-market without expensive initial costs of camera firmware.
