Request InfoTerahertz Technologies Inc.Terahertz Photonics has introduced Truemode Backplane, an optical polymer for the backplane market. The material allows high-speed optical interconnections within computer and switch systems. It offers photosensitivity, loss of 0.035 dB/cm and a degradation temperature of >400 °C. The company says that the polymer shows good adhesion with substrates used for printed circuit boards, and that it is compatible with the chemicals used in the industry.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaARTICLESPhotonics.com 6/29/2022Nonlinear Optical Sensor Avoids Precision/Speed Trade-OffAn optical measurement method devised by a team of AMOLF researchers aims to simplify and streamline the ability to capture measurements from signals that are barely larger than the noise contained...Photonics.com 8/4/2022Lasers Spur Gas Motion in Water to Boost Chemical ManufacturingResearchers at Xi’an Jiaotong University have devised a potential solution for the self-transport of gas underwater using a femtosecond laser.
