Request InfoEdmund Optics Inc.Modular fixed-power beam expanders from Edmund Optics offer high-performance optical designs in an optomechanical platform. Two full rotations of the focus knurl provide smooth movement for the optics to vary the output from collimated to the minimum focus distance of 1.2 m. The precise focusing mechanism keeps the optics from rotating and helps maintain boresight accuracy and a minimally aberrated focused beam. The expanders can be secured to both metric and English threaded mounts. Interchangeable 3×, 5×, 10×, 15× and 20× rear accessory attachments change the beam expander’s magnification.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra May 2023 IssueVariable Beam ExpanderThe 1064-nm 2X – 8X Gemma® Variable Beam Expander from Edmund Optics Inc. features a high laser-induced damage threshold and fixed housing length for high-power laser applications with...Photonics Spectra February 2023 IssueMounted Color FiltersMounted Machine Vision Filters from Edmund Optics Inc. are color filters optimized for use with popular LEDs with ≥85% transmission and blocking capabilities.
