PROVIDENCE, R.I., June 19, 2013 — Laser Research Optics, a division of Meller Optics Inc., is offering CO2 lenses and turning mirrors for engraving and marking lasers that are optimized for 10.6 µm. The lenses feature coatings with <0.2% total absorption values to keep them cooler and maintain sharper cuts with fewer passes. They are available in ½- to 1½-in. sizes with focal lengths from 1 to 25 in. in ½-in. increments.
