Request InfoAdvanced Motion ControlsAdvanced Motion Controls has added a velocity mode to its DR100 series digital drives. The velocity loop is implemented as a fully decoupled PID algorithm with feed-forward gain and runs at an update rate of 100 µs. Users can adjust gains and monitor system response using complimentary setup and configuration software. A configurable low-pass filter smooths the velocity feedback, which can be derived from encoder or resolver signals. Zero-speed and at-velocity events can be programmed and mapped to one of the four digital outputs. The drives can be used with rotary, linear, brush and...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaWEBINARSPhotonics.com 3/6/2024Advancing Photonics Commercialization with Embedded Positioning ModulesPhotonics instrument development teams are facing increasing pressures to commercialize faster with fewer staff.
