The DQS 200 MD5 is a 40-W nanosecond short-pulse laser that performs helical and percussion drilling and ablation. It drills holes with diameters from 0.02 to 0.40 mm and depths of >1 mm with tolerances of a few microns. Pulse-to-pulse stability is <±1%.
