Request InfoEndress+Hauser Optical Analysis Inc.Kaiser Optical Systems Inc.'s UltraSpec-C is an enabling component for high-spectral-resolution DWDM devices and analyzers. The Volume Phase Technology holographic transmission grating is recorded in a dichromated gelatin film and sealed between two prisms, providing a beam footprint on the grating that is much larger than the beam cross section. This produces high dispersion and resolution in a 1/2-in.3 package. The component may be combined with off-the-shelf lenses and photodiode arrays to construct optical spectrum analyzers.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra January 2024 IssueOptical Transceiver ModuleThe 400G QSFP-DD ZR/ZR+ from Approved Networks is a transceiver module for communications networks in data centers and broadband.
