Micro-Optics Inc.Micro-Optics Inc. has introduced an in-line fiber optic polarization combiner/splitter for 1480 and 1550 nm and other wavelengths for pump-power combining and other applications. Housed in a compact package, the device features an insertion loss of 0.5 dB and an extinction ratio of >20 dB and has the capacity to handle high power. It is available with either polarization modulation fibers on all three ports or two inputs and a single-mode fiber. The fibers include Panda, bow-tie and oval clad types. Also available is high-extinction ratio polarization modulation connectorization.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Showcase January 2024 IssuePhotonic Integrated CircuitsTeem Photonics offers low-loss pigtailed PIC devices with five weeks turn-around time, drastically accelerating development speed and enabling a shorter path to series production.
