Request InfoIDS Imaging Development Systems GmbHOBERSULM, Germany, Dec. 22, 2010 — With a simple driver update, the functional scope of the 1.3-megapixel global shutter CMOS cameras from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH can now be expanded to include two new features. In addition to a multiple area-of-interest (AOI) mode with up to four AOIs, the area-scan cameras now also can be operated in line-scan mode. This enables line-by-line image capture with a full horizontal resolution of 1280 pixels at up to 64 kHz. The new functions are also immediately available to cameras of this type with a USB or Gigabit Ethernet connection already being used in the field, after...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra February 2024 IssueCMOS Image SensorsThe Emerald™ Gen2 line from Teledyne e2v is a CMOS image sensor family developed for machine vision, outdoor surveillance, and traffic detection and monitoring cameras.
