Request InfoHamamatsu Photonics UK Ltd.WELWYN GARDEN CITY, England, Dec. 22, 2010 — Hamamatsu Photonics UK Ltd. has introduced a hybrid photodetector (HPD) module, the H10777, that dispenses with the traditional metal dynodes found within a conventional photomultiplier tube. Instead, photoelectrons are accelerated in a high electric field onto a silicon avalanche diode target that is connected to form the cathode/output of the device. The advantage of the HPD construction is single photoelectron resolution capability, combined with very fast response compared to that delivered by conventional photomultiplier tubes. Two versions are available, a bialkali tube with...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Nov/Dec 2022 IssueOptical Spectrum AnalyzersThe AQ6375E and AQ6376E optical spectrum analyzers from Yokogawa Europe BV, Test & Measurement combine short- and mid-wavelength IR with extreme optical precision to aid in the development of...Photonics Spectra October 2022 IssueWavefront SensorsThe SHSCam wavefront sensors of the AR, HR, SHR and UHR series from Optocraft GmbH are now available in two versions with spectral ranges from 355 to 800 nm and 800 to 1064 nm.
