Request InfoDeposition Sciences Inc. (DSI)SANTA ROSA, Calif., April 12, 2010 — Deposition Sciences Inc. has announced an improved filter developed to reduce the infrared and transmit the visible wavelengths in camera applications. Because CMOS sensors are particularly sensitive to unwanted infrared wavelengths, the improved CMOS filter is designed to block up to 99.5% of the infrared radiation while transmitting more than 85% of the visible. The optical thin-film coating can be applied to glass as thin as 0.076 mm, which can be used as an encapsulating cover glass for devices being flooded with damaging environmental infrared. The advancement in the filter...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jul/Aug 2022 IssuePhoton-Counting Sensor and CameraGigajot Technology Inc.’s QIS41 camera, built around the GJ04122 sensor, pairs well with standard 4/3-in. microscopy optics, bringing high resolution and low-light performance to scientific and...Photonics Spectra February 2023 IssueEndoscopic Image SensorThe OH02B image sensor from OmniVision Technologies Inc. is a square, 2-MP, 1500 × 1500 resolution CMOS image sensor for medical use.
