Request InfoJenoptik Defense & Civil SystemsJENA, Germany, Nov. 21, 2011 — The LDS30 laser distance sensors from Jenoptik are designed for applications that require instantly triggered and very fast data acquisition. The compact sensors provide measurement rates as fast as 30 kHz at up to 250 m and an absolute accuracy in the centimeter range. The maximum range is achieved for measurement on special targets such as common retroreflectors. For natural surfaces with 10% reflectivity, the measurement range still covers 30 m. The sensor operation is eye-safe, emitting invisible laser light at 905 nm. Typical applications include object detection, proximity...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra April 2023 IssueTime-of-Flight CMOS Image SensorThe Hydra3D+ Time-of-Flight (ToF) CMOS image sensor from Teledyne e2v Ltd. incorporates 832 × 600-pixel resolution for versatile 3D detection and measurement.
