Request InfoG&H StingRay, Optical SystemsStingRay Optics LLC has developed a long-wave infrared (LWIR) triple-field-of-view lens for use over the 7.5- to 12-μm waveband range. Focal lengths of 75, 150 and 300 mm are achieved through a motorized field of view change either via control box or computerized focus control. The design assumes a focal plane image diagonal on the order of 12 mm and a cold shield arrangement resulting in a lens speed of f/2. Average transmission is 85%. An optional control sequence upgrades the lens to a fully continuous zoom design.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra December 2023 IssueMEMS Autofocus ActuatorThe MEMS Autofocus Actuator for Active Athermalization in Embedded Vision Cameras from Sheba Microsystems Inc. was made to be used in automotive, action, drones, machine vision, security and...Photonics.com 4/1/2024Day and Night LensResolve Optics’ motorized lens is capable of producing both clear daytime and night vision images and can be used for surveillance applications.
