Request InfoLumics GmbHLumics GmbH has introduced single-emitter laser diodes on high-heat-load U-mounts, which can be used for medical applications. They have wavelengths of 808, 915, 940 and 975 nm. The emitter chips measure 1 μm in height and have widths of 45, 95 or 190 μm. For example, the LU0940U013 model has a 190-μm-wide chip that emits at 940 nm and delivers 13-W power in CW mode and 25-W maximum peak power. The diodes have a single quantum well molecular beam epitaxy structure.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Nov/Dec 2022 IssueBeam Profiling CameraThe Ophir SP504S Beam Profiling Camera from MKS Instruments Inc. measures large and divergent beams by accurately capturing and analyzing wavelengths from 340 to 1100 nm for beam sizes from 45...Photonics.com 7/14/2023Femtosecond LaserThe Spectra-Physics® IceFyre® FS IR200 laser from MKS Instruments Inc. is a high-power femtosecond laser designed for fast and high-quality micromachining applications.
