MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 24, 2010 – Sick Inc. has launched the SLG line of slim nonsafety through-beam light grids. Using only 8 mm of space for the optics, the devices can be hidden inside machines, frames, doors and other places where space and aesthetics are important. The compact light grids have a simple configuration interface and are used to detect an object as it moves through an area.
