Request InfoPI (Physik Instrumente) LP, Motion Control, Air Bearings, Piezo MechanicsAUBURN, Mass., Oct. 16, 2015 — PI (Physik Instrumente) LP has announced the A-141 miniature air bearing linear positioner, featuring preloaded air bearings and an integral optical linear encoder. The device has an overall height of 38 mm for use in small spaces. Smooth motion with no cogging or attractive forces is provided by ironless linear motors. Position information goes down to 20-nm resolution from integrated linear encoders. Linear motors reach velocities up to 0.5 m/s and acceleration to 0.75 g. Applications include use in metrology, photonics alignment, semiconductors, flat panel displays, precision...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 7/19/2022Stepper Motor Linear SlidesL-836 Stepper Motor Linear Slides from Physik Instrumente LP are motorized linear translation stages designed for multiaxis stacking with an optional linear encoder and a compact folded drive train....Photonics Spectra October 2023 IssueCustom Air Bearing Motion SystemsCustom air bearing motion systems from Physik Instrumente LP are designed to enhance performance in various industrial applications such as photonics, medical design, aerospace, and semiconductors....Photonics.com 4/14/2023Linear Translation StagesThe PIglide A-123 family of wide-body, high-accuracy linear stages from Physik Instrumente LP are low-profile precision positioning stages equipped with preloaded air bearings and integrated linear...Photonics.com 4/14/2023Four-axis StagesThe XYZ-Goniometer series of four-axis stages from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. feature four motor options.
