Request InfoPerkinElmer InstrumentsPerkinElmer Instruments' Ortec Products has designed the X-Cooler as a low-cost mechanical replacement for the liquid-nitrogen cooling of high-purity germanium detectors. It is suitable for gamma spectroscopy applications in analytical laboratories as well as for environmental and process monitoring. The X-Cooler is available with the company's new detectors and is compatible with existing Ortec PopTop detectors. The cooler, which requires less than 300 W of power and features a compact lightweight design, is priced comparably with liquid-nitrogen Dewar vessels and cryostats.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jul/Aug 2023 IssueExtended InGaAs DetectorsHermetically sealed, surface-mount device-packaged 1.7- and 2.6-μm InGaAs PIN ATLAS photodiodes from Marktech Optoelectronics Inc. are designed for spacecraft, aerospace, medical, defense,...Photonics Spectra October 2023 IssueWafer Measurement SystemThe NEXIV VMZ-NWL 200 from Nikon is an automatic wafer measurement system developed to solve the challenges of wafer metrology in the back-end of the semiconductor manufacturing process.
