Request InfoProcess Sensors Corp., IR Temperature Div.MILFORD, Mass., Aug. 19, 2011 — Process Sensors Corp. has added the improved high-accuracy, low-temperature Metis Model MB35 sensor series to its line of precision noncontact infrared pyrometers. With an operating temperature range starting at 35 °C, the pyrometers use a lead selenide detector with filtered spectral response from 2 to 5 µm. Applications include CO2 laser heating, composites and metal surfaces above 35 °C. The emissivity of metallic surfaces decreases with shorter wavelengths, so the devices offer better performance than those with a longer-wavelength response, according to the company....See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 8/24/2022Ethylene Oxide Monitoring SystemThe Ambient Air Monitoring System for Ethylene Oxide (EtO) has been announced by Picarro Inc., providing a continuous, automated solution for community monitoring stations and industrial fencelines....Photonics Spectra March 2023 IssueOptical Inspection SystemThe Photon Optical Inspection System from LMI Technologies Inc. provides fast, high-precision scanning of manufactured materials.
