Request InfoPrinceton Optronics Inc.Princeton Optronics Inc. has introduced a high-power vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL)-based multichip laser module delivering 480 W of quasi-continuous-wave power. It has four 5 x 5-mm VCSEL chips that are connected in series, each delivering 120 W of output power. The chips are mounted on a copper heat sink that is fan-cooled and integrated with the module. The module is suitable for illumination and medical applications and for users who want to employ a ready-made pump for solid-state lasers. It can be custom-configured for other power levels and wavelengths.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2023 IssueUV Fiber LaserThe single-frequency, 308-nm fiber-based UV laser from AdValue Photonics Inc. emits 3 W of average power with a diffraction limited beam.
