LOGAN, Utah, April 15, 2011 — Ophir Photonics has announced the NanoModeScan M2 laser beam propagation analyzer, which enables quantitative measurement and viewing of high-power CO2 laser beams. The system is easy to set up and align, and is fast: An M2 measurement can be made in as little as 20 s, using either the ISO 11146 or Rayleigh method, according to the company.
