Optimal cooling of the detector arrays allows for improved low-light spectral measurements and results in a better than 250× improvement in the signal-to-noise performance. The devices are available in 900 to 1700-nm, 1100 to 2200-nm and 1250 to 2500-nm linear array configurations. They perform real-time spectral data acquisition and offer long-lifetime operation.
