Request InfoFiber Optic Center Inc.AngstromBond AB9080 adhesive and sealant was designed by Fiber Optic Center Inc. to be cured with or without exposure to UV light. When cured with UV light, the low-viscosity polymer gels in 10 to 20 s, making it suitable for optical alignment applications. The optically clear adhesive has a 1.41 index of refraction, permitting transmittance as low as 300 nm. The company says it exhibits exceptional bond strength to glass, metal and most plastics, so the polymer can be used for sealing and bonding lenses, prisms and other optical components.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content October 2022 IssueFiber Optic De-SpecklerA DeSpeckler averages the modal noise within an optical fiber.
