Request InfoMKS/NewportIRVINE, Calif., June 8, 2015 — Newport Corp. has expanded its Edge Grip mount series with the M1-1D mount for D-shaped mirrors. The mount can also be used to hold other types of optics, including lens arrays, gratings or beam samplers. The design accommodates up to 1-in. (25.4-mm) round or square optics ranging from 0.079 in. (2 mm) to 0.32 in. (8.1 mm) thick. Two precision 100-TPI adjustment screws provide high-resolution tilt adjustment up to ±4°. A patent-pending mechanism grips the optic’s bottom edge so that the top and sides are completely unobscured.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jan/Feb 2023 IssueZinc Selenide OpticsHigh-quality zinc selenide (ZnSe) lenses, output couplers, and mirrors from Laser Research Optics are optimized at 1.06 μm for medical laser OEMs. The devices are manufactured to...Photonics.com 7/26/2022Optical MountsThe E-Series of Adjustable Size Kinematic Optical Mounts from Edmund Optics Inc. can be used for mounting a wide range of round, rectangular, and square optical components, including round and...Photonics.com 8/31/2022Broadband and Wide-angle Laser Line MirrorsBroadband and Wide-angle Laser Line Mirrors from Knight Optical Ltd. feature an Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) coating to meet the demanding requirements sought by laser system manufacturers. ...Photonics Spectra January 2023 IssueSteering MirrorsPiezo and voice-coil steering mirrors from Physik Instrumente LP are designed for free space optical communications.
