Request InfoArmstrong Optical Ltd.NORTHAMPTON, England, Aug. 9, 2011 — Armstrong Optical Ltd. has expanded its range of optical timing reference sources with the introduction of the FLP fiber laser pulser. The system is based on a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser emitting at 665 nm and providing output through a multimode SC/PC fiber connection. Used in conjunction with an external pulse generator, it supplies light pulses with widths of 88 ps per pulse full width half maximum at low energy. The pulses are suitable for timing applications. Operating power is provided from the external pulse generator using 0 to 5-V input. Typical applications...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics.com March 2024 IssueErbium Fiber LaserThe ELMO 780 XHP from Menlo Systems is a high-power, industry-grade femtosecond erbium fiber laser that can be used in applications such as multi-photon microscopy and 3D nano printing.
