Request InfoLeonardo UK Ltd.For use in infrared microscopy, Selex Sensors and Airborne Systems UK Ltd. has unveiled Wren, an uncooled single-element pyroelectric detector based on company-grown deuterated L-alanine-doped triglycene sulfate material. It has an active area of 250 × 250 μm to replicate that of existing cooled detector technologies, such as mercury cadmium telluride, silicon or indium gallium arsenide. The company says that the devices provide trouble-free operation and a broad spectral response and that they involve no through-life costs.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 2/6/2023Pyroelectric DetectorThe LRM-292 pyroelectric detector from InfraTec GmbH is a multi-channel detector with an integrated operational amplifier, thermal compensation, and TO46 housing.
