Request InfoEdmund Optics Inc.Positioning stages introduced by Edmund Optics Ltd. use a piezo-driven stepper motor to achieve submicron resolution over long travel ranges. Utilizing a stick-slip design, they expand the piezo element fully, pushing the stage along its travel. This allows high precision of movement without sacrificing overall travel. Compatible in vacuum applications, the stages move at up to 2 mm/s, with total travel up to 30 mm. A controller is required for operation.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 4/14/2023Linear Translation StagesThe PIglide A-123 family of wide-body, high-accuracy linear stages from Physik Instrumente LP are low-profile precision positioning stages equipped with preloaded air bearings and integrated linear...Photonics Spectra June 2023 IssueLaser Positioning SystemThe AMS 100i laser positioning system from Leuze electronic is designed for small installation spaces with a 105 × 68 × 75-mm footprint.
