The Model 758A can operate from 1.0 to 1.6 µm and processes pulse widths of 1 to 40 ns over six orders of magnitude dynamic range. The detector and preamplifier components are thermoelectrically cooled to minimize noise and provide stability. Various sizes of InGaAs APD detectors are available for different rangefinders.
