Request InfoOptek Technology, Industrial Sensing & ControlOptek Technology Inc. has introduced a reflective sensor that operates at a distance of ±0.5 in. compared with a maximum distance of 0.125 in. for typical sensors. The OPB715 sensor, based on Optek's Photologic technology, is characterized for use with paper, but also can detect reflective objects at longer distances. It functions through a GaAlAs LED that is current-limited for design convenience. The panel-mount plastic housing protects against stray light and is terminated with 18-in. wire leads. It can be customized to include lenses, apertures, filters or connectors.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 10/13/2023FMCW Lidar Vision SystemsThe Eyeonic™ Vision System Portfolio from SiLC Technologies are vision detection systems that utilize FMCW lidar technology and can identify objects beyond a kilometer away while also providing...Vision Spectra Autumn 2022 Issue3D SensorThe C5-2040CS 3D compact sensor from Automation Technology GmbH is designed for the inspection of beverage containers.
