Request InfoTT Electronics plcTT Electronics’ OPB735 series reflective object sensors have an 890 nm IR LED paired with an NPN silicon phototransistor or photodarlington, which provides noncontact object detection. The emitter and detector sit adjacent to one another on convergent optical axes with a nominal reflection distance of half an inch. The sensors have a nonconductive thermoplastic housing with a low profile to facilitate stacking, and the components within are hermetically sealed for use in harsh environments. The sensors are available with 0.9-inch leads or 12-inch lead wires.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 4/8/2024Evaluation KitThe PyrIQ® Evaluation Kit from InfraTec supports the testing of digital detectors and IR source parameters without an otherwise required development of software, firmware, and test circuits....BioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2024 IssueMulti-LED for WearablesThe SFH 7018 is a red/green/IR LED package from ams OSRAM that can make photoplethysmography (PPG) measurements in smart watches, wristbands, and other wearable devices.
