The single plug-in module features a 1/2-in. progressive-scan CCD, a processor, Compact Flash memory storage, extensive I/O connectivity via Ethernet, a USB serial port and a monitor. It reduces the clutter of PC integration and avoids the issues inherent with integrating parts and interfaces from a variety of vendors.
