Request InfoAdvanced Microoptic Systems GmbHThe SMC-40 released by Advanced Micro Systems (AMS) Inc. is an integrated-circuit-based stepper motor controller that operates at more than 65,000 steps per second on 3.3 V and that does not require a crystal oscillator or a reset circuit. Nonvolatile memory is built in for stand-alone operation. Serial communication enables 32-axis control from a single COM port. Limit, home, go, soft stop and multiple user I/O’s are included, and the SMO-40 and SME-40 peripheral devices provide analog control and encoder feedback. The microcomputer chip comes in small 28-pin PLCC28 and TSSOP28 package sizes.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaWEBINARSPhotonics.com 1/18/2018Fiberguide RARe Motheye Fiber: Random Anti-Reflective (RARe) Nanostructures on Optical Fibers as Replacement for AR CoatingsAnti-reflective (AR) coatings are now entering their second century and have remained virtually unchanged throughout their life.
