TÜRKENFELD, Germany, July 1, 2014 — The ISS-17-VA integrating sphere source calibration standard from Gigahertz-Optik produces variable light intensities while maintaining a constant color temperature. The ISS-17-VA is 170 mm in diameter with a 50-mm-diameter illumination field. The sphere is coated with Gigahertz-Optik’s highly diffused and reflective barium sulfate coating. With an integrated light source, it produces a field with homogenous light distribution within the sphere. This light source can be operated at color temperatures of 2856 and 3100 K.
