Request InfoNikon Instruments Inc.Nikon Instruments Inc.’s N-SIM superresolution microscope is based on structured illumination (SIM) technology developed and licensed to Nikon by the University of California, San Francisco. Used in conjunction with total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy, the technology allows the microstructures and nanostructures of fixed and living cells to be viewed with molecular-scale resolution, achieving twice the resolution of conventional optical microscopes, even near the cell membrane. It achieves a time resolution of 0.6 s per frame.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Sep/Oct 2023 IssueUpright MicroscopeThe ECLIPSE Ui integrated microscope-based viewing system from Nikon Instruments Inc. is designed for clinical and pathological observation.
