Request InfoEdmund Optics Inc.Edmund Industrial Optics has introduced a telecentric video lens that features a working distance of 125 to 150 mm, so images are dimensionally accurate over a 25-mm range of focal points. The J54-798 has a constant magnification of 0.5x with a telecentricity of 0.03°. The depth of field is ±3 mm at f/12, and the focus field can be moved over the working distance of the lens. The J54-798 is designed to be used with camera systems that feature 1/2- to 2/3-in. CCDs and has a standard C-mount configuration.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra April 2024 IssueMetalens Fisheye Camera2Pi Optics’ high-resolution fisheye sensor based on optical metalens technology is made for designers who need miniature cameras for use in advanced driver-assistance systems, AR/VR, UAVs,...Photonics Spectra January 2024 IssueData Reduction SoftwareThe Morpheus™ software from Arizona Optical Metrology enables computer-generated hologram (CGH) test uncertainty analysis and data reduction for measurement maps for use in deterministic...Vision-Spectra.com January 2024 IssueVision SoftwareThe latest version of the Sapera™ Vision Software Suite from Teledyne Dalsa includes Astrocyte™ 1.50, its AI training graphical tool, and Sapera Processing 9.50, its image processing and...Photonics.com 2/15/2023Fixed-mount Barcode ReaderThe DataMan® 580 fixed-mount barcode reader from Cognex Corp. is a high-resolution reader that decodes multiple symbologies simultaneously at high speeds, supporting short package gaps. ...ARTICLESPhotonics.com 10/16/2023Femtosecond Laser Integrates Optics in Single Glass Substrate for Easy ManufactureThe short, regular pulses of femtosecond lasers are put to effective use in numerous applications, including laser surgery, micromachining, microscopy, and spectroscopy.
