Request InfoOptris Infrared Sensing LLCOptris GmbH has unveiled the second generation of its PI thermal imager. The stationary camera is now equipped with a new detector to improve measurement accuracy. The new generation of detectors enables measurement of small objects on a micrometer scale. Thermal images can be displayed in real time at a rate of 120 Hz, or one picture every 8 ms, as a result of improved signal processing. The imager is based on a small uncooled 160 x 120-pixel detector that produces good local resolution of the device under test. Pixel size is 25 x 25 μm. Thermal processes of very small objects starting...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2024 IssueMulti-LED for WearablesThe SFH 7018 is a red/green/IR LED package from ams OSRAM that can make photoplethysmography (PPG) measurements in smart watches, wristbands, and other wearable devices.
