Point Grey Research Inc.’s two new models of Blackfly ultracompact cameras — the BFLY-PGE-14S2C-CS and the BFLY-PGE-23S2C-CS — are suited for applications including machine vision, astronomy, microscopy and biophotonics. Both models use Sony Exmor CMOS sensor technology, which combines the speed of CMOS with the low noise, high dynamic range and high saturation capacity of a CCD.
