Princeton Optronics Inc.
Princeton Optronics Inc. has announced high-peak-power 860- and 940-nm laser projectors for 3D imaging in machine vision applications. Vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) arrays are used for IR illumination with a projection lens for spot projection onto 3D imaging targets. High-contrast spots are produced by the VCSEL-based projectors, extending their detection range. The arrays have a wavelength bandwidth of about 5 nm and efficiency of >40 percent. Applications include projection illuminators, robotics and machine vision.See full product
