Request InfoPhotron USA Inc.Photron Inc. has released a high-speed megapixel video camera. The Fastcam SA-1 operates at 5000 fps with full megapixel resolution. CMOS sensor technology allows slow-motion video imaging with 12-bit resolution. It has two memory configurations to choose from: an 8 GB version featuring 6 s of recording time at 1000 full fps, and 16 GB version with 12 s of recording time at 1000 full fps. The high-speed imager has a maximum speed of 150,000 fps at reduced resolution. It supports IRIG and GPS inputs to meet precision time-stamping and synchronization requirements.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2023 IssueCMOS SensorThe AS7331 CMOS sensor from ams-OSRAM AG provides separate sensor channels for UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C.
