LAWRENCE, Mass., Dec. 24, 2012 — To enable scientists, researchers and field technicians to perform remote sensing work, Spectral Evolution has created two remote sensing bundles that include a spectroradiometer, accessories and data acquisition software.
The PSR-3500 and PSR-1100 are field-portable spectroradiometers with a 4° field of view NIST-calibrated lens, a rigid foam-lined protective travel case, a padded shootout mini backpack, and a handheld microcomputer with a global positioning sensor, a three-megapixel camera, a voice recorder, Bluetooth and DARWin Jr. software.
The former has two compact Li-ion rechargeable batteries with an AC universal battery charger; the latter has one battery, same type, with a battery charger.
Both have a 5 × 5-in. reflectance standard (99%) with an aluminum case and cover, and DARWin SP data acquisition software.
The bundles are suitable for remote sensing, ground truthing, vegetative studies, crop and soil research, ocean studies, atmospheric and climatic work, and calibration of hyperspectral and multispectral satellite imaging systems.
