Illumina.jpgIllumina Inc. has launched the BeadXpress system for research and clinical development applications. The system uses the company’s VeraCode digital microbead technology to provide high-quality data, multiplexing capability and assay flexibility. Its two-color laser detection capability is suited for low- to midmultiplex experiments. It allows assays of tens to hundreds of analytes in a single sample at one time. Applications include biomarker research and validation, pharmaceutical development, industrial testing, agriculture, clinical research and the development of molecular diagnostic assays.
