POHANG, South Korea, March 21, 2024 — Lessengers Retimed 800G TransceiversLessengers’ portfolio of partially retimed 800G optical transceivers are designed for AI/ML workloads in hyperscale data centers. With less than 9-W power consumption for an 800G OSFP, the transceivers use half of a retimer chip integrated in the transmit path from the electrical input to the optical line side output for greater signal retiming and equalization. The transceivers feature linear drive and linear receive optics, 8 × 112 Gb/s PAM4 on both the electrical host receiver and optical line transmitter interfaces, and IEEE 802.3 and CMIS 5.0 or later compliance.
