Linear DirectAC Retrofit Engines from Fulham Co. Inc. feature AC direct drive on an integrated LED board.
The engines are ideal for low-profile, dimmable lighting applications, being available in three variants of 10 W at 5.5 in., 15 W at 11 in., and 30 W at 22 in. They deliver universal voltage input of 120 to 277 V, smooth leading edge TRIAC or trailing edge ELV dimming down to 10%, a 5VA rated lens, and ultra-low flicker of <30%, in accordance with environmental standards such as California Title 24 and CEC Flicker requirements. Standard 90 CRI and a range of color temperatures are offered.
An integrated LED board eliminates the need for a separate driver, creating a lower profile of 0.67 in. in height to simplify installation. The engines are designed for retrofitting into vanity type fixtures, linear wall sconces, and other surface-mounted luminaries. They can be used in a range of sectors including retail, industrial, healthcare, education, hospitality, and more.
