Rigid Photomacrography SystemThe Macropod PETROGRAPHIC from Macroscopic Solutions LLC is a rigid photomacrography system that allows slides or thin sections to be imaged and analyzed in plain light and cross polarized light.

The system comes with the components used for reflected light photomacrography of rocks and minerals for researchers and hobbyists.

The system includes a Canon EOS 6D DSLR camera body; a Macro Photo MP-E 65-mm f/2.8 1-5 × manual focus lens for EOS; a Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite Flash; an MP-E 65-mm diffuser; and flash mounts, among other components.
